O reitor da Universidade Estadual do Piauí, Carlos Alberto Pereira começou a divulgar a lista dos primeiros colocados no vestibular 2012. A cerimônia acontece no campus do Dirceu, Clóvis Moura.

O candidato que fez o maior número de pontos foi Mateus Braga de Carvalho, aprovado para o curso de Licenciatura Plena em Matemática.
Os 10 primeiros colocados foram:

O presidente do Núcleo de Concursos e Promoção de Eventos, Francisco Canindé, acredita que este será o último vestibular tradicional da Uespi. “Em março haverá uma reunião com representantes do Ministério da Educação para definir a adesão da universidade ao Enem”.
Segundo ele, o vestibular 2012 foi muito tranquilo apesar de ser um dos mais concorridos. Foram mais de 30.700 alunos, disputando 4,.270 vagas.
Aprovação
Segundo o reitor, Carlos Alberto Pereira, 58% do total de aprovados são oriundos de escolas públicas.
