Dom Expedito Lopes: Prefeito eleito Valmir Barbosa é diplomado
A Justiça Eleitoral realizou na noite desta quinta-feira (08), o ato de diplomação dos candidatos eleitos no último dia 02 de outubro aos cargos de prefeito, vice-prefeito e vereador de Dom Expedito Lopes.
O evento foi realizado na Câmara Municipal do município. A solenidade foi presidida pelo juiz da 62ª Zona Eleitoral, Adelmar Martins. A diplomação é o ato pelo qual a Justiça Eleitoral atesta que os candidatos foram efetivamente eleitos pelo povo e estão aptos a tomarem posse nos respectivos cargos no dia 1º de janeiro de 2017.
O evento contou com a presença da chefe de Cartório da 62ª Zona, Daniela Martins Duarte; do ex-prefeito da cidade, José Belo de Sousa, o Zé Belo; do atual prefeito, Alecxo de Moura Belo e autoridades de outros municípios, como o ex-prefeito de Oeiras, Benedito de Carvalho Sá, o B.Sá e o prefeito eleito de Monsenhor Hipólito, Zenon Bezerra.
Familiares e amigos dos eleitos e a população em geral também estiveram presentes na solenidade. Em Dom Expedito Lopes, no cargo de prefeito foi diplomado o contador e professor Valmir Barbosa (PDT), que foi eleito numa disputa bastante acirrada, vencendo pela diferença de apenas 2 votos. No cargo de vice-prefeito, foi diplomado Écio Flávio Gomes (PSB). Na oportunidade, os vereadores eleitos e os suplentes também foram diplomados.
Segundo Valmir Barbosa, com a diplomação, a Justiça Eleitoral reconhece os eleitos e o momento agora é de preparação pra posse para enfrentar o trabalho e resolver os problemas de Dom Expedito Lopes. Valmir informou ainda que a primeira preocupação da nova gestão é tratar a saúde do município. “Mas também não vamos desprezar os outros setores que tem problemas, principalmente no que diz respeito a salários atrasados e estradas vicinais. Vamos cuidar de cada um deles no seu momento oportuno”, pontuou. O novo gestor acredita que antes do Natal estará anunciando o seu secretariado.
