A Fazenda da Paz realiza o V Fórum Social Sobre Drogas. O evento traz dados alarmantes em relação ao Piauí. Segundo pesquisa da Confederação Nacional dos Muncípios, quase 86% dos municípios piauienses enfrentam problemas com drogas.
Ainda segundo o levantamento, dos 152 municípios piauienses pesquisados, 83,5% enfrentam problemas na área de saúde em decorrência das drogas e 58% têm problemas de segurança.
A Câmara de Enfrentamento ao Crack e outras Drogas participa do evento. Segundo a secretária executiva, Zita Vilar, um dos principais problemas é o aumento no número de casos de violência doméstica. 20 municípios pesquisados enfrentam problemas de alta complexidade em relação a violência.
Zita afirma que a Câmara vem trabalhando um “novo olhar” por conta do surgimento de novas conjunturas, como esse aumento no caso de violência doméstica.
Está em fase de conclusão o projeto de construção de um casa de passagem para dependentes químicos em Teresina. O projeto está nas mãos do governador Wilson Martins e, no início do próximo ano, a casa já deve estar em funcionamento.
