Prefeitura perfura poço para melhorar abastecimento em Tabatinga

O prefeito de Picos, Kleber Eulálio (PMDB), esteve na tarde de ontem, terça-feira (26), no povoado Tabatinga, para inspecionar a vazão de um poço tubular que a Prefeitura mandou perfurar para garantir a melhoria no sistema de abastecimento d’água daquele povoado.
A perfuração do poço ficou a cargo da empresa Hidropoços, que executou o trabalho em apenas dois dias, faltando agora os serviços de construção do reservatório, equipamento do poço e interligação dos canos no sistema antigo.
“Essa comunidade estava padecendo com a falta d’água, já que o poço existente não garantia a contento o abastecimento de todas as casas. Felizmente o prefeito Kleber Eulálio ouviu nosso apelo e está melhorando todo o sistema” – comentou o vereador Antônio Marcos Gonçalves Nunes, o Toinho de Chicá, que na ocasião inaugurou literalmente o novo benefício, tomando banho com a água do poço.
Em Tabatinga e regiões adjacentes, mais de 100 famílias serão beneficiadas com essa melhoria no sistema de abastecimento d’água. O poço, escavado a 120 metros de profundidade com recursos próprios do município, tem uma vazão de 23 mil litros de água por hora.
A vazão do novo poço também foi comemorada pela comunidade, onde o agricultor José Pereira de Sousa destacou que a água só aparecia nas torneiras de madrugada. “Estamos muito agradecidos ao prefeito, pois teremos novamente em nossas torneiras esse bem tão precioso que é a água” – enfatizou. Também acompanharam o prefeito Kleber Eulálio, na inspeção da vazão do poço, o ex-vereador Chico de Chicá e o ex-vice-prefeito de Inhuma, Manoel da Emater.
