Avenida Severo Eulálio recebe melhorias na sinalização
A Prefeitura de Picos, através do Departamento Municipal de Trânsito (DMT) está realizando melhorias na sinalização da avenida Severo Eulálio. O trabalho começou com a implantação da sinalização horizontal e vertical.
Com objetivo de dar mais segurança aos pedestres que praticam exercícios físicos na Severo Eulálio, o DMT, também, está pintando a pista de cooper e implantando os tachões ao longo do trecho da avenida.
Para avançar ainda mais o trabalho de sinalização, o órgão vem realizando o serviço em outros trechos que necessitam de melhoria no setor. “Estamos trabalhando em duas frentes. Uma aqui na avenida Severo Eulálio com a implantação dos tachões e a noite a pintura na Getúlio Vargas”, disse Júnior Nobre, superintendente do DMT.
Para o Júnior Nobre, a sinalização passa para o condutor a certeza e transparência que a rua é mão dupla ou única, que tem que parar e que tem a preferência do outro veículo. “No Canto da Várzea, por exemplo, caso aconteça um acidente o agente de trânsito ou policial militar ao chegar ao local já sabe quem está errado ou certo. Tudo por conta da sinalização”, afirmou.
Nobre reiterou ainda que o DMT está fazendo sua parte que é fazendo campanhas educativas, fiscalizando e punindo os infratores.
