Estabelecidas regras para uso de água da Barragem de Bocaina
A partir da próxima segunda-feira, dia 16, passarão a existir regras para o uso da água liberada, através de Barragem de Bocaina. As regras foram estabelecidas pelo Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria Estadual do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos, Agência Nacional de Águas – ANA e a Comissão Gestora do Açude de Bocaina.
De acordo com o secretário Mário Ângelo de Meneses, essa determinação foi decidida, após reunião com a comissão formada por prefeitos e representantes de entidades e sociedade civil, no último dia 04 de Junho, na cidade de Picos. As regras deverão ser adotadas pelos os usuários da bacia do Rio Guaribas, situados desde o Reservatório de Bocaina até a confluência com o Rio Itaim.
“É importante destacar que estas regras foram elaboradas por meio do acompanhamento do volume de água represado em BOCAINA e do cadastramento de 203 usuários realizado ainda em 2013, suas demandas referentes às culturas irrigadas, e a disponibilidade de água dentro do leito do Rio Guaribas”, enfatiza Mário Ângelo.
Fica determinado que todos os usuários de irrigação estão autorizados a captar no máximo durante 4 h/dia, durante 12 dias/mês, totalizando 48 horas/mês. Os usuários localizados nos municípios de BOCAINA E SUSSUAPARA estão autorizados a captar nas manhãs de quinta-feira até sábado. Os usuários localizados no município de PICOS estão autorizados a captar nas manhãs de domingo até quarta-feira. Os usuários deverão captar apenas no horário da manhã entre às 7h e 11h.
Os usuários já cadastrados pela campanha de 2013 deverão ser regularizados mediante expedição de outorgas de uso. Já os usuários não cadastrados serão fiscalizados e responderão nos rigores da legislação ambiental vigente.
Uma equipe técnica da SEMAR estará realizando uma mobilização, junto aos usuários, divulgando as regras estabelecidas. Serão distribuídos panfletos informativos. Além disso, a secretaria irá realizar uma reunião com representantes do poder público e prefeitos da região.
