Impasse entre Prefeitura e empresa deixa Jaicós sem coleta de lixo
Um impasse entre a Prefeitura Municipal de Jaicós e a empresa F. de A. Ferreira Coleta de Resíduos, tem causado um grande problema para os moradores da cidade, desde que os funcionários da empresa responsável pela coleta do lixo e entulhos da zona urbana do município, alegando atraso no pagamento, suspenderam os serviços de limpeza, o que trouxe diversos transtornos aos moradores, principalmente porque o lixo fica exposto por muito tempo nas calçadas e os cachorros e urubus o espalham por toda a rua.
O Prefeito em exercício, José Reis Sousa, afirma estar em dia com os pagamentos à Empresa e exibiu os comprovantes dos depósitos que foram feitos no valor de R$ 135.616,60. O contrato mensal da empresa é de R$ 33.904,15. Zé Reis cientificou que nunca foi informado de que havia débitos anteriores, e que com a paralisação dos serviços, a empresa está descumprindo o contrato. Ressaltou ainda que não foi comunicado sobre a greve dos servidores da empresa, que teve início no último dia 09/12.
Por outro lado, o proprietário da F. de A. Ferreira Coleta de Resíduos, o Sr. Francisco de Assis, conhecido popularmente como Chico Paraguai, relatou que realmente o prefeito em exercício pagou quatro meses, como comprovam os recibos de depósitos, mas os pagamentos são referentes aos meses de julho, agosto, setembro e outubro.
Chico frisou que há muitos meses que os pagamentos são realizados, mas sempre fica um mês “dentro” e os funcionários já vêm reclamando há muito tempo. “Há dias que tento falar com o prefeito e com a Chefe de Gabinete e não consigo, deixo recados e não há retorno. Eu nunca falei para nenhum servidor da minha empresa entrar em greve, pelo contrário, conversei e pedi para aguardarem, mas após saírem para trabalhar na sexta-feira (09) se reuniram pela rua e decidiram paralisar. Depois vieram me informar a decisão e afirmar que só voltariam a trabalhar quando estivessem com os salários em dia”, disse.
Vinte e seis funcionários da Empresa paralisaram os serviços e a cidade ficou sem coleta de lixo, o que vem causando transtornos e reclamações por parte dos moradores. Para amenizar a situação, a Prefeitura contratou em caráter de urgência outra equipe e outros carros para efetuarem a limpeza até que a situação se resolva
