A Paróquia Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, promovem show com o cantor Antônio Cardoso no dia 29 de março. O evento começa 20 horas e será realizado no F.Sá Eventos, localizado na Avenida Severo Eulálio, bairro Canto da Várzea, em Picos.
O cantor Antônio Cardoso é natural do município de Miguel Calmon, no Estado da Bahia, migrou para São Paulo em 1975. Na capital Paulista ele conheceu Padre Zezinho, as Irmãs Paulinas, personagens importantes na sua carreira missionária.
Antônio Cardoso já gravou vários discos, com repertório compostos pelas seguintes músicas: AMIGO DE FÉ, APRENDIZ, IGUAIS, PAIS APAIXONADOS, ACONCHEGO, O AMOR TORNA TUDO NOVO, além de alguns LP’s dentre eles MIGRANTE, HISTÓRIAS DA GENTE, LP TEIMOSIA. O seu mais novo CD, PEDE UM AMOR ÀS ESTRELAS, foi lançado pela gravadora Paulinas/COMEP.
A gerente da Rádio Cultura FM, Maria das Dores, explica que dois motivos foram importantes para a escolha de Antônio Cardoso como cantor do show no dia 29 de março, o primeiro é o fato de que o cantor fará alguns shows no Nordeste neste mês, o segundo é que o repertório de Antônio Cardoso tem agradado o povo picoense e da região.
Além disso, a gerente da Rádio das Comunidades, também destaca que os laços de amizade e aproximação entre a equipe da Paróquia de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios e ele como um fator fundamental para a realização do show de Antônio Cardoso na cidade de Picos.
