Prefeitura inicia reforma em banheiros do mercado central
[ad#336×280]Por J.Pereira – Atendendo uma solicitação de proprietários de pontos comerciais e feirantes do mercado central, a prefeitura de Picos, através da secretaria de Turismo, Desenvolvimento Econômico e Tecnólogo deu início no mês de setembro a reforma e ampliação de todos os banheiros do mercado público central.
O mercado conta com banheiros masculino e feminino. Segundo o secretário José Luiz de Carvalho, a reforma contempla a construção de um banheiro feminino e ampliação do banheiro masculino, alguns deles antes em situação precária.
No projeto consta também a segunda etapa de reforma interna e externa do mercado. O cronograma com prazos para execução da obra já está em fase de conclusão. “ Estamos trabalhando também um Projeto de ampliação de banheiros e pintura do mercado do Junco “, destacou o secretário.
A reforma dos banheiros atende uma reivindicação de feirantes e de um conjunto de aproximadamente 200 pessoas que circulam, diariamente, pelo mercado. Um investimento de pelo menos 10 mil reais, aproximadamente.
Para o comerciante Expedito Alves do Nascimento, a iniciativa ajuda a organizar ainda mais a estrutura interna do mercado. “Agora temos banheiros separados para homens e mulheres. Boa a iniciativa “, frisou.
