Com esse objetivo, o secretário municipal de educação, padre Walmir Lima, visitou na tarde desta segunda-feira (22) as escolas Helvídio Nunes de Barros, no povoado Fátima do Piauí e Dona Benedita, na localidade Chapada do Mucambo.
Durante as visitas, o secretário analisou a estrutura das escolas e, ainda, conversou com diretores, professores e estudantes.
Segundo padre Walmir Lima algumas escolas municipais estão com a estrutura ruim, em algumas delas faltam até banheiro para professores e alunos, como também salas de aula e a fiação elétrica está comprometida. O secretário afirmou às comunidades escolares que as providencias devem ser tomada urgente para solucionar os problemas.
O secretário destacou a necessidade de unir forças e de um trabalho em conjunto, secretaria e comunidade, para melhorar a educação municipal.
