SEP contrata mais um jogador para a disputa do Piauiense
A Sociedade Esportiva de Picos (SEP) contratou mais um jogador para a disputa do Campeonato Piauiense 2017. O atleta Douglas Carioca, de 25 anos, que disputou a Série D pelo Central de Caruaru, é a 16ª contratação do clube para temporada do próximo ano.
A diretoria do Zangão já havia fechado a lista de contratações, mas decidiu contratar o atleta, que estava disponível no mercado. Douglas Carioca é o sétimo volante do elenco.
“Ele é um excepcional jogador. Fez uma ótima participação na Série D pelo Central. Havíamos concluído a relação de contratados para defender o time em 2017, mas soubemos da disponibilidade e iniciamos a negociação. Conversamos com nossa diretoria e com o treinador Nivaldo Lancuna, que avaliou como positiva a contratação”, revelou Rodrigo Lima, presidente da SEP.
Ainda segundo o presidente, todos os atletas contratados devem ser regularizados junto ao BID em janeiro, quando iniciam a pré-temporada. Com o anúncio do atleta carioca, o Zangão chega aos 29 nomes à disposição de Nivaldo Lancuna. Dos 29 jogadores que constam na lista, sete deles são da base mantida pelo clube, os outros 16 são novas contratações, e os seis restantes foram pinçados de um peneirão, totalizando 22 novidades no elenco.
